Paradise Restaurant is a gathering spot designed to reflect the growing ethnic mix that characterizes Los Angeles. This eclectically-composed eatery is designed with an angular shed-style exterior and an art-filled interior space. The 9,000 square foot restaurant, located at the intersection of the two busiest freeways in Los Angeles, provides a welcome alternative to current roadside dining.

The interior features organic fabrics and patterns from nature, high ceilings for a feeling of openness and distribution of natural light. The exterior is strongly geometric, with a bold white corrugated shell, circular porthole windows, a dynamic asymmetrical triangular roof of green metal and skylights which create dramatic volumes inside. Upon entry, an open working kitchen is in full view, accented with bright tiles, open rotisseries and wood-burning pizza ovens.

Drama is heightened by specially-commissioned, large panel murals of lush Pacific scenes, suspended over the bar, kitchen and dining areas. Completing Paradise’s theme are custom palm motif chairs, exhibits of Pacific crafts, and surfboard countertops, embellishments brought together to create a unique South Bay dining experience.
