This master plan of a 43 acre mixed-use urban village has been approved by the City of Simi Valley.  The redevelopment, near The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, will revitalize a site that currently houses a long-vacant 290,000 square foot office building.  The village is designed to combine synergistic uses, including a hotel with up to 125 rooms, up to 70,000 square feet of commercial space, and a 190-unit, two story garden-style apartment community.  The village will be connected to nearby hiking paths and the design incorporates a civic-oriented central plaza that connects the hotel and residential uses with a commercial node featuring walkable pathways and public gathering areas.
