The design of Verdugo Gardens mixed-use project includes 24 stories, 287 residential units (394,000 gross square feet), ground floor mixed-use space, and a 254,000 gross square foot parking garage. Amenities include: ground level retail shops, 7,000 square foot street level public park, roof level recreation deck above the parking structure, fitness club, tennis courts, jogging track, and outdoor lounges with fireplaces. Additional amenities include a Screening Room, and a 24th floor rooftop pool. The parti is of three narrow slabs, slipping past each other accentuating the buildings height and providing luxurious units with higher percentage of exterior glass. The profile of the building steps down to the south providing rooftop pools and private rooftop gardens for end units. Two levels of penthouse units provide superior views to both downtown Glendale and La Canada/Flintridge as well as views to the north of the San Gabriel Mountains.
