Location:  Orlando, Florida

Located on the old Palm Tree Plantation, in a lush tropical landscape, the hospitality property includes hotel resort towers and conference facilities. Additional elements include a spa, outdoor dining terraces, waterfalls, waterslides, a natural lagoon, children’s pool, lazy river, two restaurants and a wedding chapel on the Lagoon Island.

Hilton Plantation Grove is authentically Floridian, echoing the forms and rhythms of Southern Mediterranean Spain and Italy. Mediterranean architecture is embodied in the Terra Cotta colored roofs, Broad Overhangs supported by heavy wood rafter-tails and heavily textured Stucco walls. To reduce the apparent Height of the building and tailor its scale to Historic Precedents, each Window serves guestrooms on two floors. Other scale-reducing elements include the placement of lower-scale buildings such as the Entry, Spa, Restaurants, Loggia and Colonnade around the base of the guestroom Tower to reduce the apparent height of the Complex. The picturesque Skyline is achieved with the elevator over-rides expressed as open-air towers.
